I would have never thought of letting MG's grow up and with cannas. Don't they compete for moisture and food? They look wonderful together. Love that dark foliage. That is what I have bought 80% of my cannas for... their foliage. I love it when they bloom but out here in the hot sun, that is my secondary interest.

As Chocolate Cherry is my hybrid, I am thrilled Paul is growing it so well.

Morning glories often climb my tall cannas. The only time I have trouble is when they wind too tight or too heavy that they weightthe canna down.
Hummers make their way from one to the other sampling both flowers.

On our website, canna Firefracker is shown with Kniola Bowles morning glory.
The coral orange and violet blue complementary colours grown together make for a terrific combination.
Thanks, Paul :-)))
