at least making pretty combinations... DId I do ok? It is just planted so it will grow. Do I need a filler of some sort?

Great combos! One thing you might discover is that if you have a large coleus it may crowd out the rest. I planted an Alabama Sunset with some others, I think Florida Sun Rose was one and ipomoea Blackie. But in a few weeks the only thing you could see was the Alabama Sunset.
Wow... that is really big! I didn't know they grew so fast. I had a lot of coleus last year and they got big, but it took them the whole season...
