This has become one of my favorites. I actually bought it because of Laurief's beautiful picture of it.

I love Sea Power. It is so spectacular in a bunch.

Doss- This is the first bloom in my garden so I can't wait for it to "bunch." :-)

Ah, yes, doss, that is the picture you posted last year that made me want Sea Power soooo very much. (Thanks by the way) It is mixed in with a daylily that looks like one I have. Guess what I am going to plant next to my Sea Power? You bet. Maybe in a few years my Sea Power will look like that gorgeous picture!

Stanford, CA(Zone 9b)

See, I've been here so long that now I'm repeating myself. Nothing like a red daylily with a blue iris to make me happy! That is unless it's got something yellow with it. Even better.

Marshall, TX

I love the "black" ones. Texas' Sambuca is wonderful! My Black Dragon did nicely...

Doss, what is the "lambs ear" looking plant in the photo with the purple blooms? It is very nice! I like the way it adds another texture! That blue just jumps off the page too, bunched and not bunched!!!

Braselton, GA(Zone 7b)

I have to share my first blooms on a couple of new ones for me this year....here is Cherub's Smile...

This is Carnival Ride

And that is indeed Lamb's Ears in the previous photo. Liatris Spicata can make the same sort of effect if you want green foliage instead of gray.
