I guess they're for amusing the kiddies, makes my 4 yr old laugh.
"What are squirrels for?" Squirrels were designed to never actually make up
thier minds whether to cross the street or not. They make that decision as a car
approches within striking distance. Sometimes it's a fatal decision.
They also have nothing else to do, but to get to that bird feeder somehow, sometime in thier idle day. They also bury acorns, that they can never find, and promote the "Mighty
Oak". I find them to be very entertaining at times and very annoying at other
times. Just like people! lol-wink
