One man's trash is another man's lbs. of treasure...

Hulbert, OK(Zone 7a)

Today hubby and I took the dogs to the new Petco,
zipped by the Goodwill and also headed for the recycling
center.

We did, after all, have 35 empty cases of beer in the car.
No, we're not drinkers. Just hugging a few trees since the
local bar tosses the bottles into the trash if it weren't for
us hauling them to the recycling center.

So. We typically gather a few bottles (as mentioned in
other posts) but today was a bit different.

Spotting a piece of stained glass, I pulled it out of the
bottle bin. Then came another. And another. We'll
abbreviate to say I was there picking for some time.
When I discovered the glass, I began pulling out
glass as fast as my heart was beating.

While typically a prude, I didn't even care that my blouse
was blowing open a bit. There wasn't much to see anyhow,
and there was a motherlode of free stained glass to be had,
so get your jollies if you will, I'm busy.

So while someone else was apparently done with the glass,
I decided it was my turn to recycle. Heh heh!

This is the pile spread on some old carpet in the garage floor:
