Key Lime Starts

Lake Placid, FL(Zone 9b)

I have several cuttings from a friends Key Lime tree. I have them in water with citrus fertilizer to root but they don't seem to be doing well. I live in Fla. and could just stick them in the ground, any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would get rid of the fertilizer, that won't help the cuttings root and might hurt them. I'll let someone else comment on whether citrus will root in water or if you'd have better luck with another method.
