I've got four of these and they make it through the freezes with no problem. I don't know if you should deadhead them or not. It looks like new flowers just keep coming on top of the last set that died. What do you call that bushy part on top of the stems that the flowers come from?? When one of them gets brown I cut it off, but most of them seem to stay green and new flowers appear. Help - this one has me confused, deadhead or not?? Ed

I'd love an answer to this as well. So far I haven't deadheaded mine, but lately they've been looking like they could use it. Some of mine got attacked by lubber grasshoppers, and I was wondering if I could trim off some of the eaten parts without hurting anything.
