Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Congrats, Lisa! Enjoy the moment!

Been reading a book called "Farm" about "A Year in the Life of an American Farmer". The names/locals have been changed to protect people's privacy, but the events and such are supposed to be true. By Richard Rhodes. Very eye-opening. Like the people on this forum, lots of guts and faith and big hearts.

Tomorrow I start an on-line class at barns and noble's on writing children's books. I'll probably never write a children's book, but the class sounded fun.

Cleared out the last of the fall leaves from the side yard today, and did some weeding. CA poppy seedlings are up. The ones that over-wintered should be setting buds soon. Anticipation! They usually bloom about the same time as the irises, and the combination of blue and orange is beautiful!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Karla
