This is one of my absolute favourites. The florets are huge, approaching 8" across, and the plant had four spikes last year, two each from the largest 2 bulbs. It also appears to offset more readily than many!

Four spikes again this year, only this time I got one spike each from four seperate bulbs. Since you got the group shot last time, I thought you might like a single floret in more detail this time.
Also, a close up of the pattern in the centre of the bloom, which I think really adds to the dramatic effect
