I'm worried that the lily bulbs I planted last fall didn't make it through our crazy winter. I'd like to plant some Asiatics and Orientals, but I'm worried they won't bloom this summer. I treat them as annuals, so it would be important for them to bloom this year. I can't afford to wait till next year.

revclaus, every lily bulb I've purchased at a box store has bloomed the same year, some just a little later than when they usually would.

ditto : ) I haven't found a spot yet in the yard where they don't come up.
I bought a mix bag at walmart the other day and they were growing in the bag and one even has two small buds on it already. It was all pale due to no sunlight. Hope it has time to turn green before blooming!
