Gold Hill, OR(Zone 7a)

This is one of my favorite Iris that was given to me in the mid 80's, would love to know it's name if anyone has a clue.
Thanks in advance

Looks like it could be Persian Berry. It's hard to tell the color in the pic, but Persian Berry is on the purpleypink side and blooms early. I sent you a pic of one of mine

I'm not sure that's it. The contrasting color on the fall of yours is not there in mine. I looked at the PlantFiles pics and mine looks more pink than purple. The picture I posted is one of last years. When it blooms this year I will get another picture in full sun and where you can see the fall better. Also the beard of mine is a solid color all the way to the tip, it doesn't have any other color in it. I will keep looking but thanks anyway

Good for you!!

Well ... It is NOT 'Mulled Wine' .... ( 30" tall , very fragrant, early to mid bloomer. )
It is possibly TB 'Rose' http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/52760/index.html

It is beginning to look like the Iris I have are almost all from the 1982 and back. I will temporarily name this one 'Rose' ... until someone tells me otherwise ....

Here is a picture from this year .. the color is more accurate in this picture than in the first one.

I'm not sure that is it either, I think it is older than that. Mine is a very fragrant one also.
