Mitella/Tellima What is the difference?

Chesterland, OH(Zone 5b)

It's got me wondering, just what are the differences?
Recently a picture of a Mitella was posted, I am looking at it and it VERY similar to a plant I have a Tellima. They are both in the Saxifragaceae family. The flowers are similar too. I remember reading somewhere that the letters in the name are the same just mixed up in different order.

Interesting question Shadyfolks. I only have the Tellima but was looking for Mitella to purchase as a ground cover. In Armitage's Native Plants For North American Gardens, on page 387 under Etymology, it states Tellima grandiflora was originally placed under Mitella. Tellima is anagram of Mitella as you mentioned. Grandiflora refers to how when these plants are compared to Mitella the Tellima flowers are large. Since the Tellima flowers are quite small I can only imagine how tiny the Mitella flowers are.
