That's my forecast. My peaches have fruit, apples are flowering and so are my citrus trees. Everything is growing. I saw an alligator in my lagoon two days ago. We're getting a frost in April? It's just wrong.

I agree! Where is the nice weather??? Look on the bright side though, you could be here....the actual temps were in the teens last night with a brisk wind, I do not know how low it got with the wind chill factor added in.

Lee's Summit, MO(Zone 6a)

It froze here for the last two nights/mornings - I lost all my morning glories and all the plants with blooms are sodden masses of black.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

The best piece of gardening advice I've ever received, was from a seasoned gardener( in my zone of course...)

Never plant before Tax Day. I've stuck with that since he told me early in my gardening obsession and so far I've only gotten 'hit' once.

Corey, it sounds like we were the fortunate ones. No damage here.

But, you are correct; it just wasn't right!

I covered the mostly likely to get hit and everything is fine. You didn't have to be very far inland to have had a decent frost though.
