Kiln for melting glass...do you have one?

Hulbert, OK(Zone 7a)

Recently I ordered a kiln catalog. The lady answering
the phone mentioned that she would mark those which
would work well for what my intention was, but she must
have forgotten, as the catalog arrived without marks.

I called the company to inquire which ones were ideal
for what I had in mind, and another woman asked what temperature
I needed. I said that I knew nothing about kilns, but explained
what I was doing. She was not rude, but basically told me
that I would need to know what size and what firing temperature.
I explained that I have zero knowledge of kilns, but she sort of
left it at that.

If you don't know what you want, call us back when you do.
Okay, so maybe they don't offer customer technical support.
I won't name the company, and I'm not trying to imply anything,
I'm just back to square one.

Could anyone please help me to understand what I need?

Basically, I want to melt wine bottles. That is it. Maybe a few
at a time. No ceramics. No large scale production, but more
than a couple at a time. I've looked all over the internet and
read my brains out, but everyone seems to suggest different
kilns with different plug styles and such.

I'm a complete idiot lost in the maze of kilns. Could anyone point
me in the right direction at all?

:-( Karen Marie
