Beautiful blooms but the freeze will probably turn those beauties to mush. Bummer, I know! Other blooms will follow as the temperatures climb back up. It's only a temporary glich in the weather.
Will the buds be mush too?? Made it through Fri night ok, it got down to 28, but tonight(Sat night) it's supposed to hit 20.
I don't know if the buds will turn to mush. Where is your Clematis located? Near your house or in the garden? What exposure does it have? Keeping my fingers crossed for your Clematis!
Shirley, most are exposed to the north wind, but it appears I didn't get any damage from the freeze!!!
