Impatiens reseeding??

Do impatiens reseed??

I planted some last year and now this spring, I have these little seedlings shooting up in the same spot. I will have to get a pic tomorrow to post.

I've had some reseed. Not a whole lot - I wouldn't rely on them to come back the following season, but yes, I've found impatiens sprouts here and there. Kind of a nice little surprise.

I have them by the millions. Just the regular ones from the garden center I bought in flats about 3 years ago. I have them coming up right about where they grew the year before. I noticed some seedlings coming up here, too, but I imagine they'll be toast after tonight's freeze.

(Of course Jewelweed -- I. capensis -- resseds, but it's a weed)
