Just wondering if there are any small compact type rose bushes maybe 2x2 feet or so that have no thorns?? If so could you give me the names so I can do some research on them. TIA.
Roses bushes without thorns?
Dawn - half the fun of growing roses is bleeding profusely after Spring pruning. Gardening is not for wimps!

Dawn, check out http://www.helpmefind.com/rose/roses.php?&tab=5
You can do an advanced search using a variety of search criteria.
I searched under "habit" using "medium" AND "thornless" and found the following that fit within your criteria:
MORfree http://www.helpmefind.com/rose/pl.php?n=14632
MORstar http://www.helpmefind.com/rose/pl.php?n=41809
Softee http://www.helpmefind.com/rose/pl.php?n=14631
Stardust http://www.helpmefind.com/rose/pl.php?n=41808
Based upon my findings at this web site, most of the thornless or near-thornless roses are taller than 2'.
Good luck with your search!
Thanks for the links :)
I love rose bushes but my problem is that I don't have room for anything big.....just small ones. I already have 3 miniature rose bushes in pink which I love. I love the fact that they bloom all summer too. I just thought I would look into something a bit different and just a tad bit bigger. I don't really like thorns so I was hoping I could find some beauty without the thorns. I did do some research and I came up with a few names like Pink Gnome and Little Mischief. I guess now I will need to see if I can find those in my area.
