Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

Good Morning all you farmers and farmers at heart.
Can't seem to do much for the calves with their fly problem. One calf had 5 horse flies on him this morning and he could hardly eat his corn. Tonight I will try to use a fly swatter, but the calf is a little wild and probably won't hold still enough. They like to go stand in the pond to keep cool in this hot weather and this washes off all the spray.
Possible rain in the forecast. Hope so. Maybe it will cool everything down a bit. I mowed way after dark last evening to try to beat the heat.
Take Good Care
