Glass countertops

Houston, United States(Zone 9b)

Did anyone see This Old House last Saturday? They are doing a house in Austin and had shipped in a recyled material countertop made from NY somewhere was it??? Anyway....it was soooo pretty. It's a 3 year old company up there that takes recycled glass, breaks it down into varying sizes (chips to powder) and separates by color....mixes it with a concrete mix that is stained to match and pours the counter, polishing it to a shine just like granite or marble. It was very pretty. Just wondering how much money that would cost (considering not many making it...have to ship it) but it is recycled materials? Just gorgrous.
