Before I spend way too long searching, I want to see if any of the bird experts here know this bird. First time observed here.

They winter in the tropics, so could be headed North through Florida. Experts?
Great Crested Flycatcher
Resin
Leave it to Resin to know the bird! I was checking it out and some winter in South Florida. Pelletory was on the right track. Thanks to you both.
I feel lucky to see one of those in my yard. It only is around for about two weeks and never comes out from the shrub line..nor have I ever seen it at the feeder. Im going to have my eyes peeled now. It an interesting color as well..or I think so.
Yep, it is mapped as wintering in southern Florida, but if the pic is recent, it could also be a passage bird, I'd think they'll be arriving from South America in good numbers by now.
Resin
Recent it is, I took the photo today.
