I think I remember being on a tour somewhere in zone 7 that there is a reblooming form of Clematis armandii? Is there such a plant? If so, what is the cultivar name? I have the normal one and I believe it thought it was a ground cover: first year sleep, second year creep, third year leap. I'm so happy with it this its third year. My string is strung, my shed awaits its full adornment.
Reblooming Clematis armandii?
Mine is in it's second year.It is full of buds and ready to pop.I have to give it more water this summer because many of the leaves have brown tips.I don't think this is a rebloomer but we shall see.
I will post pictures when the blooms open.I can't wait for the heavenly scent.
Wow I love the leaves on this one.
These two Armandii climbing my arbor, they were at least 2 year old when I planted them initially. They were moved to a new location after a year of profuse blooms. Fragrant too, like that of SAC but these are not invasive (I wished it would be). This is Spring blooming, white star-shape flowers, 1.5 - x2 bigger flowers than that of SAC's, and the best features? It's evergreen in my zone 7b.
