Meet Radar, a nine year old Belgian Draft Horse, featured in the Guinness World Record Book as the tallest living horse. He was feature attraction at a feed store today in Davis, OK. Radar stands 19 hands, 3 1/2 inches (6 feet, 7 1/2 inches) at the withers and weighs over 2,400 pounds. He is said to eat 18 pounds of grain, 40 pounds of hay and drink 20 gallons of water a day. He is sponsored by Priefert Ranch Equipment, makers of livestock paneling and related equipment. His trainer let me into his pen to get this picture. Awesome!
