Lowe's in south Texas offered 2 year old adeniums for 14.00 today...really beautiful with hot pink and white with lots of intensity to the pink...
Lowe's large blooming adeniums today
Stop it! Stop making us northerners jealous! Our stores carry none of that! Went to HD yesterday and all they had were 2 bedraggled C. australis (cabbage palms, really cordylines).
I wish sometimes that i didn't actually garden so much and had time just sending plants to people....I think the reason we get these unusual plants is because there is a very large Asian population on the coast and many of them love to propagate what they know from their own countries....then they sell to everyone in the area.
I guess it depends on where you are in the North. I saw them at our Lowe's also. They were nice and big or $14.
I am right across from Trenton, NJ in PA.
I went down to HD last weekend on bought three for $12 a pop. It made me insides quiver like sunshine jelly!
