This one takes baths every day, and I wonder what it is?
Thank you, Christie
CLOSED: Who is this beauty?
Could it be a Hermit Thrush?? They are in your area, but then I have never seen one.
Great picture and cute little guy, whoever it is!!!!

I agree with the identification of a Hermit Thrush for the first and last pictures. The picture in the center is a Junco. Nice shape pictures, great detail.
Very nice, mrs_colla!
So sweet. Lovely photos. Thank you.
Another vote for Hermit Thrush, and Dark-eyed Junco [Oregon Junco].

Really nice pics Christie!
Thank you for your compliments, and giving this beauty a name. I googled the hermit thrush, and I agree. I feel so strongly for this bird, it eats here, baths, and it lets me really close; about a meter and a half! We got something going!
I wish I knew how to get the whole family over here!

Resin, have you thought about the Belgian food I promised you!?

Sounds superb . . . just wish I could!
Nice Brewer's Blackbird there

Wauw! These blackbirds occupy the pines in front of my house, and they come in Spring, about 100 of them! They eat, drink, sit in the tall trees and chatter right before sundown. By the time the hot weather arrives, they are gone. Don't know where they go, and why, but it is a Good Day for me when they return!
My neighbour thinks they are Starlings.
If you ever visit CA Resin, you must take me up on my offer!!
Christie
