can you believe?????

i went to the city(kansas city, that is) to get some parts and thought well i better stop at the big nursery i go to a few times a year and see what they had out so far.....well to my suprise.....iris' galore....but not one lousiana(sp?) iris....so i asked......oh i think 4 people had no clue...so they called the head honcho........and can you beleive he said he had never heard of them........he said they had black game cock iris...........i said no thats not what i want....

this greenhouse is huge...ill remember the name when i am not thinking about it

now dont get me wrong....they have gorgeous plants......i do not claim to know alot about things that grow......but i was so disheartened when noone knew what i was talking about.......i guess i better know what i am going to get and do with it the next time i go back
