Need help asap with carpet stain

Hi! I am new here. Can anyone help me with a fresh stain on the carpet. My great nephew just got sick on my new carpet. It is light beige and the stain sticks out horribly. I just took a damp cloth and pick up everything with out rubbing it in. I put carpet cleaner on it. Still will not come out. Any suggestions. I am desperate to try anything at this point. Thank You.
