LOL...I caught several sparrows last year in my live trap that I set out for field mice. Apparently they're not very smart to crawl all the way back into a cage on the ground.
Greedy little thing- reaching for that last seed, way down inside.. oopps and in he goes! LOL!

I thought that the minute I opened the feeder he/she would fly off singing a little ditty,Instead he flew up to the first available spot waited for me to refill the feeder,and was the first back when I moved on to the next one.
geo, if it is already that tame, you can probably get it to eat out of your hand with a little time a patients.
