Cats and Mice in Heaven??

A regal and very obese persian cat named Molly finally made her approach to the pearly gates. When she arrived, she was of course welcomed in and given a nice fluffy pillow on which to sleep. The lord determined that she had undoubtedly served her humanoids quite well over the course of her lifetime and thus a deserved spot in the sun and a nice soft pillow to sleep on. He also told her that he would stop by occasionally to see how things were to which she was quite receptive.




Later that same day, three little mice arrived at the pearly gates after meeting with an untimely demise of some sort. All three were admitted and as an "extra" given tiny little roller skates on which to glide effortlessly around the heavens scooping bits of cheese up along the way.



The next day, God was making his rounds and sure enough he found Molly the cat curled up on her pillow sound asleep in the afternoon sun. , She sensed his presence and of course the wide yawn and long stretch of a cat just awakened followed with some seriously loud purring. God asked how her stay had been and if the pillow was to her liking. Molly just purred away.....finally saying "oh my, the pillow is sooo nice and everyone has been just wonderful up here. Everything, she said, was far beyond anything imaginable but, by far the most enjoyable things have been the meals on wheels which you keep sending my way!!
