Has anybody ever tried these??

I figure this is a good forum to post this as not too many menfolk would be caught traipsing through here.
Have any of you ladies ever tried these washable menstrual pads or similar product?

I'm just wondering how well these work as in how "accident" proof they would be. I'm interested in them because of reduction in waste (billions of sanitary products end up in our landfills) and for the potential savings. The women in my family have their periods into their mid 50's and 10-12 days long each time Aunt Flow visits, ugh.

If you're a man and you're reading this, I imagine you're just about scurrying right now, lol.
