Beautiful, but I'm jealous. I've been getting blooms since Christmas, but only one at a time. I love the Indian Sunrise.

How are getting iris blooming now? Are they in a greenhouse?

Blythe, CA(Zone 10b)

woodspirit1: I can't say for avmoran, but mine are growing outside. Mine started in December.

Pylesville, MD(Zone 6b)

mine are still asleep
these are from last year
and the Portland Convention

betterbloom, I can see that you live in a very warm climate. But don't your irises have to go through a dormant, colder period?

Blythe, CA(Zone 10b)

woodspirit: My irises froze the middle of January, which was unusual for this area. I think that is why my blooms are small, and some stalks only have one flower on them. They were just planted last August, then moved in October, so that didn't help either. I'm surprised they are blooming at all.

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

wow, that was almost iris genicide. Imagine how great they're gonna do with better conditions next year.

aren't these flowers amazing

I grow Inca Rose too. The coloring on it is fascinating!

They are amazing flowers! If we could hover over the earth - we'd probably be seeing irises bloom all-year-round in different areas of the world.

If planted right you can see iris bloom here in Maryland from late March or early April until November

Wow, Iris from early April until November. What blooms for you in the fall?

Oro Valley, AZ(Zone 9a)

We start blooming late March/Early April too.....but the hot sun "puts them to bed" by about mid-May. Rebloom usually will begin in late October until spring bloom begins. Usually - - not this year though. We broke all kinds of record lows this winter. It was awful! I usually will cross irises/hybridize in the fall and winter too, but not this year. People who see long seasons of rebloom are soooooooo lucky!!
