I love my greenhouse but live in Oklahoma where it gets VERY windy. I bought the extra base for stability but still can’t open the doors on very windy days or it blows out the side panels. If I had it to do over again I’d but a greenhouse that opens (has doors or window) on both ends so the wind could blow directly through. Sometime I’m afraid my plants will roast because I’m forced to leave the greenhouse closed up.
Greenhouse advise
Sheeba, what kind is it? Is it a HFGH?
It's a Juliana Basic Model 300 I bought from frostproof.com about 4 years ago. I like the polycarbonate panels. They didn't break when they blew out. With a bit of maneuvering (and a few cuss words) I was able to "pop" them back with out any damage. Over all...I'm happy with it. Like I said, just wish it had doors on both sides.
I have a green shade cloth I tie over the top in the summer to keep the heat down
