Over the years I have always used this to start seeds. I consider it the best in terms of water retention, composition etc. It is getting hard to find. Other seed starting mixes just haven't done the job for fine seeds like begonia. Does anyone know what big stores carries this? I live in Central Mass. and the store locator (at ferry seed who must distribute the brand) tells me that the nearest retailer is 89 miles away.

My local Agway has it. They have a store locator on their website. Says there are several in your area. I would call to see if they carry the jiffy.
I picked up some ferry morse seed starter at Lowes and it seems to be the same consistency as jiffy mix, IMHO.
