I know it's last minute but I thought I would share anyway, Macon State College holds a Spring Garden Symposium every year, this will be my 4th year attending. Is it great? Let's just say I drive 3-1/2 hours each way from Thomasville, GA and stay overnight in Macon to attend!
The Symposium runs from 8:30 AM to 3:15 PM, there are 3 group speakers and a breakout session consisting of 3 different hour-and-a-half smaller seminars going simultaneusly. A continental breakfast and buffet lunch are included. Here are 2 links, one to the college website and one to the pdf brochure. The $40 cost is nominal considering. Also there will be plants for sale from several nurseries- and usually the local native plant society. I have NEVER come home empty handed! (sorry, I'm an enabler.....)
