Hi Mojo,

I'm in mass. zone 6 but I thought I'd answer & say hi.

I'm growing "Sorcerer" this year because it has only a 10' vine. It grows 15-22 lbs & good for pies.
Also, trying some litttle one for the grandkids. "Wee B Little", Baby Boo & "jack-Be-Little". These are all miniature Pumkins & Baby Boo is all white.

Try Vermont Bean Seed Co. and Johnny's Seed in Maine. Johnny's should list what would be good for your zone.

Good luck, Paul

The best watermelon for cold areas is Blacktail Mountain, as I've heard.

I had good luck with this one last year: http://www.johnnyseeds.com/catalog/product.aspx?category=1&subcategory=606&item=2871

johnnys lists this one as their cold tolerant variety: http://www.johnnyseeds.com/catalog/product.aspx?category=1&subcategory=57&scommand=refine&qstateid=7b6ffd0d-94c3-46b5-9512-00961eda4637&rbc=Cold+Tolerant&rbv=1&item=2495

I planted mine out with waterwells.

Hi Paul, I lived in Key West for 2 years. How did you pick your DG name?
