Awesome Red Pearl and Exotic Star

Mobile, AL

Finally, my bloom season as started!

Red Pearl measures 9" from tip to tip, and Exotic Star is awesome.

I am so excited that my new bulbs are starting to bloom, and I am actually beginning to see buds on my old ones.

Exotic Star is one of my favorites. Enjoy!

Thank you, Liz!

I have been patiently (sort of) waiting for my blooms to start appearing. In the meantime, I have been admiring yours, and I thank you so much for that!

Here is a photo of Red Pearl without the flash when it was first opening (beside Dancing Queen)...

closeup. This closeup didn't capture the darness of the red. In real life, it is much darker than Royal Velvet. I am dazzled by this pretty.

So, am I! Vossner, I'm trying to remember where Richmond is! Do you grow this one in the ground and has it survived a year already?

richmond is a bedroom community of Houston. I just planted Red Pearl inground in Oct. 2006

Ah, yes!

I looked Richmond up on the map, and I've driven through that area many times in route to where I lived part of my childhood - Palacios, TX!

well, what do you know. You live in Palacios, I lived in Mobile!
