Oh my, Mine are just starting to open! I guess I will lose them, cause the weather is still going to freeze! Although it is 46 today It will go down to upper 20's tonight! Shooooooot, no peaches again this year i guess!
Are Your Peach Trees Blooming?
I just bought two peach trees yesterday. No their not opening.
OH NO! I'll have to go look at mine - have a talk with it if necessary!!! I had wonderful peaches last year - I finally won the battle of the squirrels and I had hot, juicy, sweet, FRESH peaches for the first time from this tree. Actually for the first time in years. Horrible squirrels!!! Please, No FROZEN buds!
Well so far it was only one tree! I forget the name of that particular one, but it is an early bearer! Only now the buds just came too early! they were pretty and pink one day and frozen black the next! I still have 2 Elbertas and 2 free stones that havent set bud yet but they are trying to " green" out ! WE had two 69 degree days last week then the nights dipped down so drastically! My poor trees are just confused!
Anyone one have a Flordawon peach tree?
mine is elberta and thankfully it is not blooming...
