Hi:
I am in Az. Suppose to be hot in Phoenix. One batch of canna did not get covered and the whole top is brown. Can I cut this down to the ground. We are getting a little new growth on things but can have a freeze mid Feb. (Sometimes) I would cover after I cut.
What do you canna experts think?

They throw a couple of hessian bags over them.
Seems to work for them.
Yeah, Linda, cut them to the ground. That way your new growth can have some sun.
