I found SO MUCH good information on this site - hope it inspires you. Please post pictures!
Are you looking for garden art/second use containers or actual containers or just the odd and unusual type?
Pirl, sorry for not being clear. I already have the containers.
I am looking for plant groupings and design ideas only.
Lots of great information in that link, Kay. Thanks!
Did you check Kay's link for ideas? They name plants but I'm just guessing you want photos, right?
At this point, I'm more interested in a source of color photos, but I'll peruse that site as well. I checked out a few links there, but didn't see any pictures.
Okay, here's an example of container groupings with the type of impact that I am looking for.
Unfortunately, in my zone, I would not be able to get away with all of these sub-tropicals: http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=2304638

I have the book, Contained Gardens - Creative Designs and Projects, by Susan Berry and Steve Bradley. It's available at the link for $2.74 plus postage.
You might want to check at your local library first and see if it's exactly what you want.
I just typed in "container gardening" on Google and there are so many (almost too many) sites to peruse. Try it.
Wrightie...
Check out Proven Winners.com. They have hundreds of photos of container combinations.
