Has anyone ever heard of a Pondarosa Tomatoe varity??? my dad used to grow them years ago, I have never heard of them since, they were huge beautiful flavoured fruit - any info would help.

nope but theres a tree with that name its a pine
look what i found Released by Peter Henderson in 1891. Ponderosa Tomato this ones a yellow theres a beefsteak to with the same name

Thanks for that, I have found a site in America that has the Pink Ponderosa seeds and ordered some, they arrived really quick and now because of the late season will have to wait until next year to grow, can't wait...
