Spring??

Yesterday was sunny and beautiful, but really windy. So, not much point taking binoculars, I say. Of course, I'm about a mile into my walk when "Ka-roo, ka-roo" and the Sandhill Cranes (I think!) are flying North! And the flock of bluebirds and the flock of robins and what may have been evening grosbeaks. Note to self-- do not EVER leave home w/o binocs!

that is how I feel about my camera and a pair of pileated woodpeckers RIGHT outside my window this past week. Im STILL not over it. Its always they way....at least we saw them!
