Pyrrosia fern

is anyone growing Pyrrosia? I'm planning on buying some that are veriagated, and some others that are crested and sawtoothed, Jim

I have grown Pyrrosia lingua for two yrs here in zone 8b and it has done great even in our hot humid nights. It has been evergreen {26 degrees }. I've ordered Pyrr polydactyla and hoping for same results.

i'm sure i lost a Crested Tongue Fern this last winter in the ground next to a small stream
but we had record breaking cold for a week
i guess most Pyrrosia must be very difficult & rare? have you seen the prices for them at Asiatica ?

Strever, I bought 5 different Pyrrosia at a show in Seattle last week, the price was $20 to $25, I knew I was getting a bargain. I hope I can keep them alive through the winter here in zone8a, Jim
