Hi folks,

I saw a picture somewhere in DG of a realllllllllly big squash. I don't know if it was summer or winter, but the color was sort of tan, the skin was smooth and it had a curve to it. In the picture, the squash was as long as the person's arm and it was supposed to be pretty tasty. Any ideas on what type?

Most likely http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/56773/index.html the trombocino. At any rate tan usually means C. moschata the butternut family. Some of the other butternut types get quite large, but only a few have curved necks.
