I need some really bright pink iris. Flamingo pink. Bearded--TB and medians. Can anyone suggest some? Pictures this time of year would be nice also. Thank you!
For my new pink garden
Thanks Anita, they are both lovely. Wanda kindly traded me Chanted last year, so I really look forward to that one blooming. Peaches would look good in the border too, it's going to be really long.
Any really bright pinks you know of?
Ooh, pretty. Thanks guys!
Is Kitty Kay quite bright? Love it.
Beautiful! I'm getting a good list going.
Any of this color you know of? I'd like a few of the really bright pinks. Melissa Sue will be one.

there are a couple nice pinks in the last couple years let me look them up
Kitty Kay, Leta Black, and Mellisa Sue are all terrific. I can't wait to see more. I have some pinks, but only put them in this past year so I don't know what they will look like. I did catch that remark about Beverly Sills not blooming. I used to have one at my old house. It bloomed the first season and never again. It certainly is lovely, though.
I like Concertina too.

Here is a nice pink IB that I found in PF Pictures today, posted by Wanda. She says it is very prolific. That sounds like a winner to me. Of course, I have never set eyes on it myself. Nevertheless, Wanda knows her iris!
So many pretties, thank you.
I thought I was done ordering the soft pinks, but now I have a list full, you enablers.
Here's one I found I like-- Kaligazam.

I found this while looking up Kitty Kay, which I now have to have also.
That Raspberry Blush is gorgeous, and yes Wanda does know her iris.
Any more bright pink anyone knows of?
Thanks for all your help, all!

Wow! Kaligazam is georgeous. But flamingo peak? See what Iris do to us. They draw us all over the place. Here is one that I consider more like flamingo pink, but I have never grown it. It is called Fire Bride.

Since purples are catching your eye, here is Splash of Raspberry which I do own. It is extremely vigorous and a real knockout. It is rather purple though.
Boy, those you just added are stunning. I especially like Social Graces! Also the two you have added since --- April in Paris and Candy Scholes. I may have to have a pink garden. I think mine would more likely be pink and lavender and shades in between.

SOCIAL GRACES is one of my favorites. And it grows very well for me.

oooooohhhhhh..........GOODNIGHT KISS sure a pretty pink!

I had looked at She's All That, too, in the Cooley's catalog. That one is very special. And I agree that Sweet Emotions is about as close as I have seen to flamingo pink.
You know Betty, I'm also thinking that GOODNIGHT KISS and HAPPENSTANCE are pretty close to a flamingo pink also. Last year I almost bought SHE'S ALL THAT..........................I had seen it in Cooley's Garden and it sure was putting on a pretty show.

They are all so VERY pretty!
I agree totally mgh!
They are all so beautiful, but I have to agree that Valentine's Day is extra special. And it is always important to me if someone reports that it grows well for them. No matter how beautiful they are, it is very important that they bloom and multiply!
I may have to start my own pink garden.
Oh my gosh, how much bigger can I make this garden. Thanks everyone. Wow!
great pinks margie
:)
A
Margie, thanks so much, Social Graces and Happenstance really fit what I was looking for, but the others are so beautiful, also, I will have to add them to my list.
Funny, I ordered 30 light pink, and pink and white and none of them are mentioned above. There really are a lot of pink iris.
And Mendy, that Goodnight Kiss is a must have also.
pajaritomt- I know that one I posted was on the purple side, not really what I want in this garden, will leave that to your purply pink garden, but I love it.
Of course my idea of flamingo pink may not be someone elses. To me Flamingo Pink is Melissa Sue in Wandas pic.

Is that everyones idea of flamingo pink, or am I off base?
Anyway, I'm thankful for all the suggestions, I love all the ones above, and really appreciate your help.
Now I just need to find all of these. I have found some in my last years Superstition catalogue, hope they have them this year. Kitty Kay, Valentines Day, Happenstance, and She's All That are in Superstition, and affordably priced too. Yeah!
