It's a acorn shaped squash on the seedsavers.org site. I'm thinking of growing it this year. Does anyone like this type? Or have experience with it?
What types of acorn squash do you like?
Thanks,
Jen

Thelma Sanders Sweet Potato Squash, anyone grow it?
Since no one took you up on this one, I will try. I have never encountered the Thelma Sanders Sweet potato squash. For eating, I find the dark green acorns better than the cream and white ones. Have had very good luck with the Bush Table Queen. I prefer the bush varieties whenever available.
" I prefer the bush varieties whenever available." Why is that famerdill?
Concentrated fruit set. get just as many or more fruits and they are all right at the hill. The vining types run all over creation.
Sounds good farmerdill. I would prefer less vines. As long as it tastes the same, less vines is much better. I went ahead and ordered seed for the bush table queen and also the thelma sanders from Baker Creek as they had both. I wanted a dark green and a white, so this should do it. Thanks for the input.
