Roosting Boxes

Does anyone have plans for building roosting boxes? The winter winds are brutal around our house and I'd like to put some up. Right now the birds gather in the bird houses I have around, but I know roosting boxes are built for more birds to "share" their body heat. Being cheap, I'm looking for free plans :) Thanks in advance!

Sorry goldfinch, didn't mean to ignore your post but I do not have any roosting boxes.I do have a roosting pocket I'm getting ready to put out now that the weather has finally gotten cold.

I do not know anything about roosting boxes. I have two nesting baskets, but I don't think anything has ever gotten in them. Should I see/find anything, I will certainly let you know.

Sorry, goldfinch - me neither. I do have some little roosting pockets I'm going to put out, though - they'll look cute even if they never get used.
