Clematis, 'Bourbon'

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

This is one of Ray Evison's Patio Collection Clematis. They are smaller in height and can be planted in large containers, so you can enjoy them up close. This one is blooming indoors in my sunroom.

Does any one else grow any of his Patio Collection? Please post a picture if you have one.

Thanks Jeanne. Ray Evison's Patio Collection might be just what you are looking for if you want shorter growing vines. This article will give you more information about his Clematis. http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/nwgardens/270687_clematis20.html?source=rss

These were among his patio collection listed in the article above:

'Angelique' -- Pale lilac flowers with stripes down the petals.

'Bourbon' -- Red-purple with yellow center.

'Cezanne' -- Large violet flowers.

'Parisienne' -- Mauve flowers with red centers.

'Picardy' -- Large pink-red flowers with a yellow center.

'Versailles' -- Wine-red flowers.

Shirley, I'm growing Picardy, but I got a new computer and haven't got my pics from the old to the new yet. I did post pics of the blooms last year when I got some tho. I'll have to find them.

Debbie:

I found your thread http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/600995/ and it shows Clematis, "Picardy", plus other DG'ers added a picture of "Versailles" and I believe "Cezanne". Perfect for Clematis container collections!
