Pros and cons? I was surprised to see a site listing it as 'poor eating quality, best used for decoration', since someone had recommended it to me. Has anyone grown it, and if so what did you think?

tennessee sweet potato (winter squash variety)
I have grown it off and on for a little over 60 years. It is similar to the Green Striped Cushaw, but without the Crookneck. It is sort of pear shaped. Flesh is pale and not as good quality as the Green Striped Cushaw. Not one of the better eating Cushaws nor as productive. Great novelty tho.
Oh, hey....just realized it was your comment I read at the other site! Thanks, Farmerdill. I don't have unlimited space for winter squash and I'll stick to the tastiest ones.
