Monolena primuliflora- I could not help myself

West Orange, NJ(Zone 6a)

Browsing Mountain Orchids' website, I found their one non-orchid offering: Monolena primuliflora. For $6. So of course I had to have it. Anyone else have one? How are you caring for it over the winter? Need to know before it arrives next week. I saw that it can only be propagated by seeds, has anyone harvested seeds and how did you do it?

(I am such a sucker.)

Thanks for the info. It turns out that Mtn Orchids wants to wait until spring to ship because it is cold-sensitive, which is fine with me. Something to look forward to.

You are welcome, good luck!

I looked it up and that is a beauty. I may have to get one in the spring too. I keep telling myself I'm done and I see another.
