I decided to take a walk around my yard and found an iris blooming.....I'm not sure what it's called, but it was nice to see something blooming.

Don't know what kind it is either, but sure is pretty. And you just noticed ? (LOL) I check mine out everyday, about 10 times! I've got five irises getting ready to bloom now.

I'm certainly no expert, but it looks alot like a spuria iris to me. Or maybe a dutch. Is there are rhizome or a bulb? Dutch grow from bulbs, spuria from rhizomes.

These were given to me by my best friend 7-8 years ago.....I can't remember ......I'll have to do a little digging around to see. This past year I've just gotten my first order of bearded irises to try.....they are beautiful and I'm hoping I can get them to grow.
