Does anyone have a source for *seeds* of Petunia axillaris, the wild white petunia? Please D-Mail me or reply here. Thank you! :-)
Petunia axillaris seeds?
I am so sorry, I knew two places that have them but it seems they no longer have it in their catalogue. I will try searching some more.
ispahan,
Did you ever find these? I'm thinking maybe Select Seeds has them- or at least used to.
Select Seeds only lists this species as a pre-started plant (listed under the name 'Rainmaster'). Flower Scent Gardens used to sell seeds but has none available this year, although their cultivar 'White Eclipse' is supposed to be similar.
I finally obtained some seeds from a botanical garden in Canada. I forgot the exact name of the place... The Flower and Herb Exchange also has a member that lists Petunia axillaris seed this year.
My seedlings are now growing nicely, albeit slowly compared to the old-fashioned vining petunias that were started from seed at exactly the same time and are now starting to bloom.
